The session will explore their benefits in both initial education and lifelong learning, followed by discussion on their practical applications.

Join us for an engaging and hands-on workshop where participants team up to tackle a real-world challenge related to micro-credentials and digital badges. In this interactive session, each group will brainstorm, collaborate, and co-create a solution to a thought-provoking scenario. At the end of the workshop, teams will present their ideas, followed by a group discussion to share insights and explore different perspectives. Whether you're new to digital badges and micro-credentials or looking to deepen your understanding, this session promises inspiration, innovation, and impactful dialogue.

Micro-credentials are small, flexible educational units specified to a certain skill or competence. A micro-credential typically lasts between a few hours and a couple of days. If the student already has the skills or competences defined in the learning objectives, a digital badge can be granted without studying the course. Micro-credentials and digital badges are the clear solution for formally recognizing informal learning.
